Berlin bear's break-out bid fails

This is the second time this summer that an animal has escaped from this zoo. A gorilla got out a few months ago.

Is this a post-modern attempt at breaking the established imperialist barriers that separate man from beast, oops, hairy toliet-use-challenged-being?

Are the structural inequalities that institutionalize anti-animal speciesism now falling? Will true freesdom reign over god's Earth once again?

Will man and animal walk and talk as in the good ol' days before the Fall? Will pre-diluvian peace lead us back to salvation?

[cue musical crescendo]

No. Just lousy security at the zoo. Maybe they should rename the zoo something like the experimental, interactive wilderness exhibition.
