Reagan and Republicans represent the upper class, say the top 25%, the Democrats represent the rest -- you can read about this political division back to Seneca, it's forever -- so unless your one of 'em or a sycophant you should probably vote Democrat. Then, when you're a little better off in life vote Republican. The rest (Reagan's grandfatherly personality for example) seems to avoid the most essential part about Democracy: constituency. Think this and overeducated, oversubsidized recent grad students sound like traitors to their class. Not that it won't pay off. Adopt the values of the those who you want to like you. That's human. That's money.
